Father's name- (Henry)- James Apted, Fishmonger and William Wakefield (Sarah), Soldier Married in the Parish Church according to the Rites and Ceremonies of the Established Church after Banns by me. It was given to him by his aunt and uncle, Charles Augustus and Marry Ann Dukes. In it was listed Henry and Sarah's birthdates--Henry- b. Sep. 29, (d. Feb. 9, 1901) and Sarah- b. April 24, 1837 (d. May 11, 1911). Henry and Sarah, with George, Harry and Amy sailed from England on the Montreal Ocean Steamship Company ship, S. S. Strathblane. 460 passengers left on a 40 day trip to Canada.
