Buried on Friday, May 26, 1946.- Burke Funeral Home, Yankton, South Dakota
Burial at Graceland Park Cemetery, 2701 South Lakeport, Sioux City, Iowa.
Elizabeth died at the home of her son, Harry, who resides on the former Gurney peony farm northwest of Yankton. Death came quite suddenly to the aged Yankton resident, although she had been in failing health for some time.
Mrs. Apted , who formerly lived in Sioux City, Ia., had resided in yankton for the past 21 years. One son, Harry, survives. Mrs. Apted was prededed in death by her husband many years ago.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2:00 p.m. at the Graceland Park Cemetery. Burke Funeral home is in charge of arrangements. Obit from Sioux City Journal

George married Elizabeth at the time her name was Lizzie Bernard. Apparently she had been married before.
