Electric City- Cleota (Mike) Dean Bowers, 72 of Electric City, died Monday at his home.
Born Aug. 3, 1898, at Van Wert, Ohio, he came west with his parents in 1910 and settled at Wenatchee. He married Geraldine Rohlman in Wenatchee on June 4, 1927, later lived in Palisades, and came to the Grand Coulee area in 1939.
He had worked as a boilermaker in the Northwest and for the Bureau of Reclamation until his retirement in 1966. He was a member of the Grand Coulee Moose Lodge, the Legion of the Moose, and Boilermakers Union Local 242, Spokane.
Survivors include his wife of the home; a brother, Chancey of Wenatchee; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are under the direction of William Barnes, Grand Coulee.
