He was living on Yosemite Street in Richmond, California. He died August, 30, 1948; he was interred in September, 1948 at Sunset View Cemetery in El Cerrito, California, 94530. The Ellis Olson Mortuary in Albany, Ca., 94706 was used. Lawn Terrace Corridor, Section 14-18, fifth one in on left, 2nd up from floor. Marie Huddleston Pape(1867-1941) is beside him. Not sure if they were really married.

Albert had an olive orchard in California.
He was hit by a car, developed pneumonia and died.

Great Grandpa Pape came over from France in 1882 on the La Normandie from Havre, France. He is listed as Albert Pepe. He came by himself.

Albert and Zoie had a male child on Dec. 23, 1901 in Fort Wayne Indiana. The information was found on film at LDS SLC, film number 1266725. The listing was mispelled as Pepe with no first name- a male, white, father, Albert, mother,-----Pettijohn. The name of the film is Index to Birth Records, Allen County, He emigrated to the U. S. from Geney, France in 1892 at the age of 20 to join his uncle in Allen County, Indiana. His family is listed in the 1900 Census living next to Auguste Pape. One of his children is buried in Jefferson Township, Allen, Indiana, probably in a Catholic cemetery.

Indiana- 1887-1920. I have a copy of the birth certificate, #116282. The certificate number or volume & page # is H7P29.
