Fails Funeral Service, Pascagoula, Ms. Obituary: Pascagoula Chronicle-Star Friday, February 6, 1959 SERVICES TODAY FOR AUGUST PAPE August Claude Pape died Wednesday night at County Hospital after a brief illness at the age of 65. He resided at 638 Market Street. A carpenter by trade, he had been employed until recently at the paper mill. He was a native of Jefferson, Indiana. Funeral services will be conducted today at Fails Funeral Home Chapel at 4 p.m. by the Rev. Byron Mathis. The body will be sent to Birmingham for cremation. Pape, who was a 32nd degree Mason, is survived by his widow, Mrs. May Shafer Pape, a daughter, Mrs. Esther Groulx, Bay City, Mi.; two brothers, Lyndon Pape,Beverly Hills, Ca., and William Pape, Seminary, Ms., a sister, Mrs. Esther Boureier, Long Beach, Ca., and two grandchildren. Billy Pape told Rich Mullins that August's wife Mae pushed him out the door before he died. |
